This product should primarily be used for reptiles that aren't able to produce enough Vitamin D3 on their own due to lack of natural sunlight or supplemental UVB source. If you have a known UVB source that produces adequate amounts of UVB, your reptile should only need Calcium without added D3 as the UVB will let them produce their own D3 and any added D3 could cause over supplementation.
 
Vitamin D3 is fat soluble so it is stored in the fat cells of the body. For this reason Vitamin D3 should not be used as a daily supplement but should be limited to once or twice per week.
 
Our Liquid Calcium +D3 is designed to be very safe so as to not cause an overload of D3 provided it is used sparingly as suggested.
 
Each bottle of Calcium +D3 contains 15,000 iu's of D3(Cholecalciferol).
D3 is sensitive to prolonged heat and light exposure. Please store in a cool dark place.
